
NotesFromThailand.com invites you to support the inaugural ‘Viva La Vida’ Charity Ball for the Solange Paz Mendoza Foundation on Friday, October 9th from 19.30 onwards at the Grand Hyatt Erawan’s Grand Ballroom. This is a black tie event to be attended by 300 people including Ambassadors, Dignitaries, executive level professionals and people from the local and expatriate community in Bangkok.
The Solange Paz Mendoza Foundation is currently raising 2 million Baht (US$59,000) for the EDUCAIDS project in collaboration with BaanGerda, a project of the Children’s Rights Foundation in a community of HIV infected orphans located a few hours north of Bangkok.
The EDUCAIDS project, in line with our organization’s sustainability goals, will raise and allocate funds towards education grants for select BaanGerda orphans whose health conditions have been stabilized in order for enable them to attend vocational and secondary schools. This will allow them to build and develop skills which they can use to support their future reintegration into their local communities.
The event includes a cocktail hour followed by a 4 course sit down dinner, musical entertainment and dancing. Tables for 10 people at 25,000 Baht or individual tickets at 3,000 Baht per person.
