The Bangkok Opera's HIV Awareness Project is a 3-year plan to put extremely talented HIV-infected and normal children together in a creative atmosphere of music making and theatrical production so that they will form friendships and show the world that HIV children may be in a mainstream arena without any stigma or handicap the project brings HIV children out of the prison of their disease and helps them to rejoin the world, and teaches audiences the world over to get over their prejudices and to cherish these children as fully contributing participants in society. The project has the endorsement of UNESCO and the Ministry of Education.
At the Opera Aid Dinner held November 5, 2009, Nicholas Snow was asked to close the evening as a person living openly and publicly with HIV. In this clip, he also sings "Beautiful in my Eyes" by Joshua Kadison, accompanied by Bruce Gaston.
