In a series of six unedited clips shot within about a 45-minute time frame, foreign correspondent Nicholas Snow provides a raw, real time tour of the vast portion of Bangkok, Thailand occupied by the “red-shirt” protesters.

This video series begins in the Silom subway station the afternoon of Saturday, May 1, 2010, at a time when the Silom neighborhood would have been teaming with tourists. Instead, Snow found a great many police and soldiers along comparatively deserted roads which begged his questions, “Do I want to go beyond the barricade? Can I even get beyond the barricades?”

Of note, Nicholas Snow is acting as a journalist. Safety warnings by multiple governments stress to STAY AWAY from protests and crowds, which for the most part Snow has done. Also, please always wear a safety helmet when on a motorcycle, which Snow did NOT do.
